Dance Cat NY (DCNY) is a new company dedicated to beauty and health. All
of our instructors are professional dancers with over 10 years of dance
experience. Our focus is not just about losing weight, but making your
body beautiful and strong. We believe body and spirit are connected. With
a strong and flexible body, positive spirit and open mind, you will feel
sexy.
Founder
Miho Imoto
Miho was born and raised in Tokyo and came to NY after she draduated Japanese
woman physical education Colleage to make her dream come true.
Miho,who toured Internationally as a back up dancer for Project Uno, is
excited to incorporate their music into her style of ZUMBA fitness instruction.
She toured 50 States as Eliza in King and I and did first national tour
of Flower drum song.
She create the role of Tabaluga in German musical [ Tabaluga und Lilli
].
She is also licensed teacher for Japanese traditional dance. She was invited
for FBI, National Grid, NewYorkUniversity etc as a guest Japanese dancer.
She is adding eastern influence to Latin dance fitness.
Instructor
Masae Taniguchi
She was born and raised in Kyoto,
Japan, moved to New York in 1998. She took some acting and dancing training. She
quickly gained her credit on the field as a dance performer and an actress. She
appeared in several films, TV shows, and some Music Videos (including Jamie
Foxx, Good Charlotte and so on) as a dancer. In 2005, her modeling career
flourished. She was featured on the cover of New York Magazine and appeared in
several famous fashion shows. Glad to be part of a team DCNY! I look forward to
meeting you!
Guest Instructor
Nadine Isengger
She is known for White Cat (Victoria) 'Cats' on Broadway and Peggy Sawyer '42nd Street' on Broadway, also she did 2007 Broadway revival of 'Chorus Line' roll of Cassie. She started dancing age 3 at Pittsburg PA. she graduated Point Park College and came to NYC to be a professional dancer. Recently she danced with Liza Minnelli in movie [Sex in the city 2]. You can see her on screen.
